Can be used to make tea. Smaller, younger leaves can be used in salads. Grows 10-12 inches tall and wide. Likes sun. Give seeds four to six weeks of cold refrigeration to break the dormancy of the seed. Seeds may be started indoors or planted directly outdoors in the Fall or early Spring after the cold cycle. Press seed on moist soil and keep moist and in light until germination. If planted in an area where animals once were, or adding commercial manure to your soil (do not overdo it), your plants and leaves will be much larger than without.
