The bright color of this pumpkin was a true standout. It was impressively large and the talk of the town. These seeds came from this orange beauty, grown in my backyard in 2023 in Lodi, California. This was the true color.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIt is pretty common for giant pumpkin seeds to have white tips at the end opposite the root end where the seed is attached to the pumpkin. These pumpkin seeds have white tips and have been tested at 100% viability. Please see the photo to make sure you are comfortable purchasing these seeds.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIf you follow my directions and have problems with your seeds germinating, notify me, and I will send you more seeds of comparable value. I will ask you to pay for shipping, which is typically $5-$7. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eInstructions: Soak seeds in mild seaweed water (1 pinch per 2 cups water) for 30 minutes. Put seeds directly into lightly packed soil, approximately 1 inch deep, root side down. Soil should include 17 cups of Black Gold, 2.25 cups of water, 3 tbsp of Wallace Micro Fungi, and 2 tbsp of Azos. Put on a heat mat set at 86 degrees and cover. If you are not growing in a covered germination container, cover your pots with plastic wrap. Make sure there are holes in your cups\/pots, and do not add additional water until you see the seeds emerge from the soil.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eA story: My first year growing giant pumpkins was not a good experience.
